CALLED COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES

The City of Jonesboro Mayor and Council held a Called Council meeting on Tuesday, February 24th, 2009.  The meeting was held at 12:30 p.m. at the Jonesboro Police Station, 170 South Main Street Jonesboro, Georgia.

 

Council Present:       Luther Maddox, Mayor

                                    Bobby Wiggins, Councilmember

                                    Clarence Mann, Councilmember - absent

                                    Roger Grider, Councilmember - absent

                                    Wallace Norrington, Councilmember 

                                    Billy Powell, Councilmember - absent

                                    Rick Yonce, Councilmember - absent

                                     

Staff Present:            Joe Nettleton, Brad Johnson, Sandra Meyers, and Janice Truhan

 

Mayor Luther Maddox called the meeting to order at 12:35 p.m. (extra time was allotted for

arrival absent CouncilmemberŐs).

 

The Mayor announced that due to the lack of a quorum, the CouncilmemberŐs present could not cast a vote.  Mayor Maddox did announce the items on the agenda and discussion ensued between Department Heads and Council regarding items two (2) through four (4) & item six (6).

 

Mayor Maddox adjourned the meeting.
