CALLED COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES

SEPTEMBER 18, 2009

 

 

 

The City of Jonesboro Mayor and Council held a Called Council meeting for the purposes of considering amendment to the Sign Ordinance. The meeting was held at 170 South Main Street  Jonesboro at 10:00 a.m.

 

Council Present:       Luther Maddox, Mayor

                                    Clarence Mann, Councilmember

                                    Roger Grider, Councilmember

                                    Billy Powell, Councilmember

                                    Rick Yonce, Councilmember

                                    Bobby Wiggins, Councilmember

                                    Wallace Norrington, Councilmember

 

Staff Present:            Administrative Assistant Patricia Daniel, Interim Chief Tim Jessup and

                                    Code Enforcement Officer Charles Carpenter.

 

1 - Mayor Maddox called the meeting to order. 

 

The Council considered the following items 2 - 3 on the Agenda:

 

2.   Considered motion to amend Sign Ordinance.  Discussion ensued.  Motion made for

      Sign Ordinance to remain the same.  Approved.  [Motion: Mann, 2nd: Powell, Vote:

      Unanimous].

 

3.   Considered motion to adjourn.  Approved.  [Motion: Grider 2nd:Mann, Vote:

      Unanimous].
