CITY OF JONESBORO

PUBLIC HEARING MEETING MINUTES

SEPTEMBER 14TH, 2009

The City of Jonesboro Mayor and Council held a Public Hearing for the purposes of the proposed Millage rate of zero mills. The meeting was held at 170 South Main Street Jonesboro.

Council Present: Luther Maddox, Mayor

Clarence Mann, Councilmember

Roger Grider, Councilmember

Billy Powell, Councilmember

Rick Yonce, Councilmember

Bobby Wiggins, Councilmember

Wallace Norrington, Councilmember - absent

Staff Present: Administrative Assistant Pat Daniel, and Finance Officer Sandra Meyers.

Mayor Maddox called the Hearing to order.

Public participant Nancy Coffman stated that she thought the zero Millage rate is a wonderful idea.

Councilmember Bobby Wiggins asked that a Millage rate of 1 mill considered to keep from using reserves.

Mayor Maddox closed the hearing at 2:01 p.m.
