Council Worksession Minutes
The City of Jonesboro Mayor and Council held a Called Worksession meeting on Wednesday, October 17, 2007. The meeting was held at 5:00 p.m. at the Jonesboro Police Station, 170 South Main Street Jonesboro, Georgia.
Council Present: Roger Grider-Councilmember
Clarence Mann-Councilmember
Linda Wenz-Councilmember
Bobby Wiggins-Councilmember
Rick Yonce-Councilmember
Mayor Joy Day-Councilmember
Staff Present: Chief Wayne Rowland-Chief of Police, Joe Nettleton-Public Works Director and Janice Truhan-City Clerk.
The Mayor called the meeting to order. Discussion ensued regarding the 2008 SPLOST tentative projects identified, the LOST allocations, presentation of Clayton County SPLOST tentative 2008 projects, and a rating sheet of projects identified by the Mayor and City Department heads. The Mayor asked for any other projects that the Council felt should be added to the list. The Mayor requested Council to rate projects according to their priorities. Joe Nettleton and Janice Truhan also were requested to prioritize the list according to what they believed the project priority should be. Mayor Day requested the rating from all parties by Friday, October 19, 2007.
The worksession meeting was adjourned.
